About the Columbia Summer Program
The Columbia Summer Program is organised by the Law Faculties of Leiden University, the University of Amsterdam and Columbia University in the City of New York.
Since 1963 these summer courses are held alternately at the Leiden Law School and at the Amsterdam Law School and are designed to provide a general introduction to the American legal system. The program is intended for legal professionals and law students in an advanced phase of their studies.
In 2009 the program was held at the University of Amsterdam. The next session will take place at the Leiden University in July 2010 (July 5 - July 30).
